What do you hope to get from this MeetUp?

Insightful and open conversation about a subject that is thought by many to be taboo.

Why do you think so many people are uncomfortable talking about death?

I don't really know. It's such a part of life and we see it every single day you'd think we'd become comfortable with is by now. Although I suppose that it's to painful for some to talk about the loss associated with death because once it arrives, there's no turning back. That person's gone from our life. Even people who have faith in a life after, there is still that small bit doubt of what lies ahead even though we don't really talk about it.

I'm at an age where death is showing up more frequently around me. I'm coming to terms with this inevitability. I want to hear other perspective on the subject of death.
