VIRTUAL MEETUP! Decred and Sound Money.

Hello Decred and Crypto Community!

We hope everyone is doing well and staying safe :)

We trust that you are all doing your best to keep busy and continue to improve your understanding of the crypto industry and blockchain projects that interest you.

The lockdown is a great opportunity to learn more about Decred and how it has evolved since our last meetup. Macro factors such as the market downturn and the most recent actions by central banks have created a wonderful forum for how crypto will play a role in the financial world in years to come.

For our first virtual meetup agenda, Decred's Community Lead David Habibi will be running through the basics on Decred's model to give everyone a quick refresher, followed by a deeper dive into key facets of Decred and a broader discussion on some trending topics such as sound money.

Participants are allowed to ask questions at anytime but we will do our best not to run off on a tangent. We will also have plenty of time at the end to have a collective discussion on the virtual meetup. The moderator for the meetup will outline some basic rules for us to follow so everyone gets a chance to be heard.
