DVBC is a non-profit recreational organization serving Delaware County and adjacent areas west of Philadelphia. We offer many group rides throughout the year through Delco, Montco and Chestco in PA, Northern DE, and Southern NJ. We have rides for cyclists of all abilities. Chester Valley Trail Ride - C/C+

King of Prussia Park and Ride

Lets meet at the PennDot park and ride off of King Of Prussia road in Wayne PA (Map: http://goo.gl/VjrH1V (Note: This is near Rte 202 and 76, if you use gps and it routes you to near Radnor HS, its the wrong 170 King Of Prussia Rd.) for a relatively flat ride on the Chester Valley Trail - we will keep a C/C+ pace. This ride is about 28 miles out and back with 98% of the riding on the trail and not on roads. Could add a hill or 2 depending on the group. Bring $$ for a quick snack, depending on the group's preference. Rain or very large chance of rain cancels this ride with a calendar update by 7 am that morning. Questions please email [masked]

Green Vistas of Chester County, 69mi, 14mph

SUN JUNE 30, 2019 - GREEN VISTAS OF CHESTER COUNTY (CO-LEADER WELCOME) (AD-HOC RIDE) Level B-: 14mph, 69 miles. Meet at Hillsdale Elementary School, 725 West Market St, West Chester, PA. The ride leaves at 8:00 am. Pretty, scenic meander through Chester County, based on/adapted from an annual charity event ride (Chester County Challenge for Cancer Ride, to benefit Chester County Hospital). This route has been modified to include convenience stores as rest stops. Cycle past peaceful, green landscapes and farms, with multiple crossings of the picturesque Brandywine Creek. Total climbing is 5100 ft, but, there are also flat & gently rolling stretches along the creek, and in the farmlands. Quick convenience store stop at Mile 11, to stock up on fluids and snacks. Lunch stop is at Mile 35 in Parkesburg, at the Turkey Hill mini-mart. On the return, we have an ice cream parlor stop at Mile 55 in Unionville.
