This group is for people who are interested in discussing and practicing the work of Dr. Brené Brown in a compassionate, connected, courageous, and creative community. It also is Denver Daring's desire to create an environment where we give ourselves permission to show up, be seen, and live braver, to play, and to practice creativity. Our motto: To live wholeheartedly and dare greatly.
Denver Daring will meet monthly to discuss Brené Brown's books and related work. We also hope to hold monthly creativity workshops introducing (1) the Guideposts to Wholehearted Living set forth in Brené's book, The Gifts of Imperfection, and (2) different principles discussed in her book, Daring Greatly.
Talks, discussions, workshops, classes, book groups, and retreats will be offered from time to time, as well as three-day intensives and/or eight-week groups based on The Daring Way™. (The Daring Way™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The method was developed to help men, women, and adolescents learn how to show up, be seen, and live braver lives. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing a courage practice that transforms the way we live, love, parent, and lead.)
