Census and Sensibility
Due to the busy-ness and unpredictability of the holiday season, we won't be holding a meeting in December, but we'll come roaring back to life in the New Year! Join us to talk about the United States Federal Census, which is one of the most readily available and widely used record sets in American genealogy (but is also a bit of a wolf in sheep's clothing), followed by the usual snacks and informal discussion. We'll be back in our usual haunt for this meeting: the Koelbel Library Conference Room. Feel free to bring a covered beverage and/or light snacks. Hope to see you all there!

    What we're about

Do you want to start researching your family's history, but have no idea how to get started? Are you already working on your family tree, but could use some help and motivation? Or are you completely obsessed with your genealogy... but have no one in your life to talk to and brainstorm about it?

Then this is the group for you! Whether you're a complete newcomer or an old hand at family history research, you'll find a friendly and informative learning environment with likeminded people. We'll have short talks on genealogical topics, a lot of time to help each other with research, and -- venue permitting -- snacks!
