Software Performance & Scalability Talk at DPL, Wed Noon

There's going to be a brief 30-minute talk on software performance and scalability, tomorrow, Wed Feb 20th at Noon, in the downtown central Denver Public Library. Applies to web dev, frontends and backends, but also to all software in general. We'll talk about what P&S means, why you should care, and give 15 techniques or architectural patterns which can be used to significantly improve these aspects of software. It will be held in a small classroom or study room because we're hoping/expecting folks who might be downtown anyway and wanting a geeky change of pace for lunchtime. Its a library so please eat only before or after you come. Please indicate if coming so we can estimate space needed, and because we can email folks before we begin with room details. We'll post that here tomorrow at least 15 minutes before the talk starts. You can email RSVP's to groglogic+dpltalkps@gmail.com

thanks

Mike
