This is a group for people interested in Selenium Automation. We will discuss Selenium in an open forum setting in the context of Quality Assurance. I am starting this group to bring Denver area people together so we can all learn from each other.
Sorry but I had to cancel this months meetup due to the Coronavirus.
Our next meetup will be Tuesday, April 28th at the Austin Fraser office in downtown Denver. We are starting at 5:30pm. I will be discussing Selenium page objects. The page object pattern is an important aspect of test writing and building a Selenium framework. It reduces duplicated code and makes your project easier to maintain. I will discuss how the pattern works and present slides that illustrate how things work. I am making this presentation language agnostic so you can apply these concepts to whatever language you code in.
The Austin Fraser office is located in downtown Denver at: 1700 Lincoln Street, Denver, CO 80203. It is close to the 16th street mall and Molly Brown Hotel. There is paid parking located close to the building. There is also off-street metered parking not far away. There are two entrances to the building, one from Lincoln Street and another from Sherman Street. I highly recommend you enter the building from the entrances that are closest to 17th street. This will ensure you can get to the correct elevators inside the building.
I created a photo album on the meetup site called ‘Austin Fraser Office Downtown’. It contains pictures to help you find your way around inside the building.
Enter the building and go to the main level where the elevators are and you will see a building guard. If you enter from Lincoln and 17th you will need to go up one floor. You do not need to ask permission from the guard though to get to the 17th floor. However, after 6pm you need a badge to get to the 17th floor. You will see a lot of elevators, but look for the elevator area that is marked ’13-23’. Take the elevator there up to the 17th floor. When you exit the elevators on the 17th floor you need to pass through the glass doors on the NORTH side of the building. We will keep an eye out for you all as you arrive.
If you have any questions please email me at [masked] or call at[masked]. Looking forward to seeing you at our next meetup!
