You can find us in the multi-purpose room in the basement of the church building. Enter through the red door from the parking lot. St. Martin’s Episcopal Church 1095 East Thacker Street Des Plaines, IL 60016 All are welcome. Meditation instruction will be provided for those who are new to sitting meditation. We are currently beginning to read "The Lost Art of Good Conversation" by Sakyong Mipham. We feel this is a very timely book - don't you? "Shambhala is about the path of warriorship, or the path of bravery, that is open to any human being who seeks a genuine and fearless existence." Donations from participants are warmly appreciated! They help us cover the cost of rent and Meetup fees.
