    WE'RE GOING TO ZOOM TODAY!
    11am to 1pm
    Online

Come write with us via Zoom! Be sure to "arrive" by 11am. Please RSVP.

We do short, timed writings together from writing prompts (or from words drawn from the magic word pouch!). We read our impromptu work out loud and receive good, specific feedback from the group, words or phrases that strike people, images, feelings the work evokes. (There is no critique, no advice for strengthening the writing, because this is spontaneous writing, not polished work.)

Please plan to write with paper and pen or pencil instead of writing on a laptop or a phone unless, of course, you have a disability that prevents you from writing by hand. Thanks!

This is a great chance to encourage agile writer's minds, to stretch, to bypass our critic and censor, practice sharing our impromptu work, grow larger in ourselves, connect.

Please RSVP, and please be conscientious about changing your RSVP to "no" if you are unable to attend. Please arrive on time, or the meeting may be locked. Also, please plan to join us for the entire meeting---it makes for a much more cohesive experience for us all. Thanks very much.

WE MEET TODAY FROM 2 TO 4PM

Let's write and visit together via Zoom for solace and camaraderie during this tumultuous time.

We'll do short, timed writings from prompts or with words drawn from a pouch. The focus will be on our own experiences, thoughts, personal stories. (No fiction in this meeting.) Then we'll read our impromptu pieces and hear from others about what resonates with them. (No critique, only specific feedback about what we like or what a piece evokes for us, such as specific words or phrases, a feeling, image or thought the piece sparks.)

Please plan to write with pen and paper (unless, of course, a disability prevents this).

Please RSVP, and please be conscientious about changing your RSVP to "no" if you are unable to attend. Please also plan to arrive on time, or the meeting may be locked. Also, please plan to join us for the entire meeting---it makes for a much more cohesive experience for us all. Thanks very much.
