Join us for this restorative, fun and "generative" day together! It is going to be a small group with the luxury of lots of time to write and read and laugh together.
We'll meet online via Zoom and do timed writings throughout the day. (We'll take a good, long break for lunch. We may run slightly past 4pm.)
We'll work with prompts for short timed writings, and the focus will be on creative nonfiction, telling our personal stories. Then we'll each read our impromptu pieces and hear what other people like about our work! (No critiques or suggestions for feedback, just what we think is working well, what the piece evokes for us, images, feelings, particular phrases and so on. What is alive for us in the work we hear? What resonates with us?)
Please plan to write with pen and paper (unless, of course, a disability prevents this). Thanks!
Please RSVP here. To register, please fill out this online form and pay here using PayPal:
Space is limited.
(I'll email the Zoom link by Sunday, June 21st, along with a few details. Fee is nonrefundable unless the event is cancelled.)
