This is a community for senior design/product leaders and for experienced designers (>5 years) transitioning from a practical to a managerial role. In order to keep noise low, topics relevant and discussions productive we are curating membership[*]. Other roles are welcome if their challenges and context are related and we thus see a chance to enable their organisation to adopt mature design practices and culture.
We focus on amplifying the value of design for startups and corporate innovation by growing mature design leadership at scale: the stagecraft and statecraft of design according to Uday Gajendar‘s logic (https://www.invisionapp.com/blog/craft-logic-design/), including the necessary cultural and organisational change. Further, we are interested in developing design as a powerful cross-functional leadership skill.
Our goal is to build a strong, reliable, and trustworthy community of practice to share consolidated knowledge about design leadership, organisational design, and culture. A community based on mutual support in order to become better leaders, strategically develop teams and talent, efficiently operationalise design, succesfully cooperate with high-level stakeholders, and facilitate effective change within our organisations.
