Design Sprint Your Life

Details
“Happiness is the ultimate ROI” – Gary V.
Human centered design approaches like Design Thinking and Design Sprints have proven effective at accelerating innovation over a wide spectrum of business and UX challenges - new product and service design, process re-engineering, strategy and business model innovation - for companies as diverse as Google, Lego, Uber and Home Depot.
What if we could apply the same techniques of empathy, iterative experimentation and rapid feedback loops to the most interesting design challenge of all .. our lives?
Drawing inspiration from Google Design Sprints, as we kick off a new year, let’s explore how to adopt a growth mindset and apply the approaches, mindsets and structured behaviors of a sprint to make decisions, reframe challenges and solve problems rapidly in our personal and professional lives.
Changing behavior is hard and isn’t accomplished with once a year ‘set it and forget it’ resolutions which most of us lose sight of by February.
We’ll be joined by speakers, Angelo Popper and Sudeep Pisipaty of Health Recovery Solutions who will share actionable ideas to proactively manage our mental and physical health and insights into the psychology they embed into their healthcare platform to help patients change their behaviors.
During the workshop we’ll share tools to help you:
-
Capture and prioritize what you’re trying to do ie your SMART goals
-
Take a process driven approach to productivity - leveraging a proven system for generating, building and testing ideas that can be used over and over again
-
Create prototypes to isolate one aspect of a life challenge and design and test experiences which allow you to experiment with different versions of potentially interesting futures
Expect to leave the workshop feeling empowered with tools and techniques that you can use as you continue to iterate on your personal roadmap and design your best life.
