#OccupyInnovation: demystifying Design Thinking into a business process

Our theme #OccupyInnovation is inspired by a blog post by Next CEO Moodi Mahmoudi which states that innovation should be open and available for anyone in an organisation, not just the 1% of experts schooled in DT and lean methodologies.

In this session, we will take a critical look at innovation. What makes it so magical and mysterious and how can we smash those preconceptions to bring innovation to other 99%.

His talk will cover initiating innovation from outside an organisation, innovation from within and finally, what these terms and innovation methodologies mean for social work groups, going back to some of his experiences with agencies who struggle to survive on a day to day basis.
