What is in your "bag?" Take a peek at what local experts in design thinking, design research, prototyping, user testing and visual thinking have in theirs and take stock of what you have in yours. Discover the powerful tools, both tangible and intangible, that folks in our field use to delight their clients.
Michael Mooney, Jess Dugan, Aaron Schumacher and Valerie Sherry will present.
Michael Mooney is an Experience Designer for Marriott International, and spends a lot of time on guest experience design. Michael has also worked as an Art Director and Associate Creative Director for several agencies.
Jess Dugan is Director of Design Strategy & Innovation at Peer Insight. She manages design thinking projects for clients including everyone from government to health care to electronics, and has helped develop many of Peer Insight's trainings and tools.
Aaron Schumacher is a data scientist for Booz Allen Hamilton, an educator for General Assembly, and an organizer for the "Hack and Tell" meetup group, a show and tell for hackers (especially programmers) in DC.
Valerie Sherry studied architecture at Brown University is a LEED AP with an affinity for creating better innovation spaces. She founded the Design Impact Lab at University of Maryland.
