Design and ethics in mobile health: considerations for patient-reported outcomes

Details

Join us for a virtual fireside chat as we explore how design, governance, and scientific lenses help us understand and shape clinical research in healthcare.

For our first online-only event, we'll be examining the growing use of patient-reported outcomes (PROs) in clinical research. PROs require us to think carefully -- and work together -- to ensure that data is collected and managed ethically, that it has clinical and/or research utility, and that interfaces are well-designed and easy to use in the context of people's lives.

We are excited to present a team from Sage Bionetworks (Stockard Simon, Dan Webster, and Vanessa Barone), and moderator Jackson Chu from Artefact, to discuss the challenges of designing for patient reported outcomes and the opportunities that digital clinical studies present for understanding more about the lived experiences of participants/patients.
