Event driven architectures in node.js using Kafka.

During this meetup we will discuss an overview of building event-based architectures in Node.JS. We'll talk about design considerations, effectives uses for event-based systems, and work through some examples that leverage Apache Kafka.

This talk will be presented by Jeff Mataya, CTO at SHOP. Jeff has been working with event-based systems for the last couple years and used them extensively at his last startup, FoxCommerce.
