This group is focused on bringing together the Michigan Red Hat User Community for business and technical presentations, conversations, food and drinks. Membership is open to Red Hat customers, partners and people interested in Red Hat technologies.

We are going to focus on shorter more technical topics for this RHUG. We have listened to the community and will do more demonstrations and less death by Powerpoint at this RHUG: - Using Satellite? Want to ensure you are maximizing value of the tool? Come see one of our SA’s demonstrate how to use Content Views with Lifecycle environments to streamline your management of your RHEL systems. -Interested in Ansible? We have provided overviews and demonstrations of Ansible in previous RHUG’s. At this RHUG we will demonstrate a how to effectively use Ansible Vault in your Ansible workflow - Using Oracle’s JDK? Interested in learning how to use the OpenJDK to reduce cost with your Java applications OpenShift 4.0 is in Beta and will be released soon. As a bonus event we will demonstrate the new OpenShift Installer and show how you can take an empty AWS environment and bring up an OpenShift cluster in less than an hour. Ferndale Library is across the street from the venue which offers metered parking.
