- Canton swim and gym playdate
Terrific Tuesday Gym & Swim Playgroup Ages: 0 - 5 years Gym Time: 10 am - 11:30 am, Pool Time: 10 am-12 pm Location: Summit on the Park Gym & Toddler Pool Daily Drop-In Fee: $0Members/$5Residents/$6NonResidents for a daily visit per child. I was told there was no fee for adults and no limits on adults per child. What to Expect: A great opportunity for parents and childcare providers in our community to meet others while letting their children of the same age socialize and play. The gym is filled with toddler-sized sports equipment to help develop gross motor skills and a large selection of toys to promote creative and dramatic play. On 4/16 about 12 kids showed up. It was a great amount, not too crowded but plenty of kids to play together. Parents must remain with their children at all times, both in the gym and in the pool. The Summit's zero-entry toddler pool is a perfect place for splash-tastic fun! Children that are not potty-trained are required to wear a swim diaper, which are available for purchase at the Summit Front Desk. This program does not provide child care or swim instruction. Participants may take part in gym time, swim time, or both! No pre-registration is required.

- Detroit Zoo trip
Everyone is invited to our trip to the Detroit Zoo. https://detroitzoo.org I can get discounted day passes for everyone who RSVPs. I will provide that link a few days prior to the event. I have been asked by the zoo not to share the link with the public so I will direct message everyone either a link to use for themselves only. Pricing if you drop in without a RSVP can be found here. Drop ins are welcome as well for this event. https://detroitzoo.org/visit/pricing/ I can save a few dollars on admission for day passes for both adults and children tickets. I can not save any money on parking or memberships, but still ask that you purchase those through the link I provide. If I can get enough participation I can offer these year round and possibly get better discounts for everyone. Memberships can be purchased through the link as well and are worth it if you visit more than a few times. Memberships also allow free parking for 1 vehicle per day, saving money every visit. We will be arriving at 12pm and you may leave whenever, but the zoo closes at 5. Please do not bring alcohol or any glass into the zoo. I'd suggest items like hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, strollers, water, snacks and layers depending on the weather. We will meet just inside the main entrance on the right side.
