Bob Marks: Continuous Delivery and Docker

Docker has recently gained of attention with users enjoying the advantages that lightweight containers provide i.e. consistency, isolation and repeatability of environments. Also, continuous delivery as a software process is becoming increasingly popular and is concerned with reducing risk though its ability to deliver new features to users at any time during the development life-cycle. Both of these were introduced into Adoreboard in 2015 - this talk focuses on how this enabled Adoreboard to release features faster, more reliably and with considerably less pain!

Paddy Carey: Containers in production - Mesos, Marathon and Docker

Over the past few years Docker has proven to be an extremely useful tool for developers and ops, simplifying everything from development environments to large-scale deployments. This talk is a case study on how we at ShopKeep use containers (both the Docker and Mesos variety) to manage and simplify our entire development process, from running complex sets of services locally, continuous integration and delivery with Jenkins, to running varied production workloads on top of Mesos and Marathon.
