Software Observability and Continuous Updates
Details
Let's get into it at DevOps NYC!
SPEAKERS
Baruch Sadorhursky: Baruch (a.k.a JBaruch) is the Head of DevOps Advocacy and a Developer Advocate at JFrog. His passion is speaking about technology. Well, speaking in general, but doing it about technology makes him look smart, and 19 years of hi-tech experience sure helps. When he’s not on stage (or on a plane to get there), he learns about technology, people and how they work, or more precisely, don’t work together. He is a co-author of the Liquid Software book, a CNCF ambassador and a passionate conference speaker.
Speaking about: DevOps Patterns and Antipatterns for Continuous Software Updates
Jonan Scheffler: Jonan is a Developer Advocate with a long history of breaking things in public and occasionally putting them back together again. His interest in physical computing often leads him to experiment with robotics and microelectronics, though his professional experience is more closely tied to cloud services and modern application development techniques. In order to break things more effectively he is particularly excited about observability lately, and he’s committed to helping developers around the world gain insight into their systems by distilling their data into actionable monitoring.
Speaking about: Slicing Kubernetes: Raspberry Pis, Monitoring and Chaos
Meredith Finkelstein: Meredith is technologist working as a senior devops consultant at Contino. She started two tech companies, teaches at Fordham, and recently completed residencies at the Recurse Center and Kickstarter focusing on consciousness and computation. Her tech interests include cryptography, algorithmic music, ml, and infrastructure as a code.
Speaking about: Overcoming Metric Fatigue with Artificial Intelligence
