Exploring Serverless Databases and Serverless CI/CD

We're kicking off a new wave of Thames Valley DevOps meetups in collaboration with nubeGO Cloud Consultancy. For the first meet-up in a while, we'll be in central Reading sharing experiences of Serverless tech in AWS and GCP.

6.30pm-7pm Drinks, Food & Chat

7pm - 7.45pm - Mark Clements, Graduate Cloud Consultant @ nubeGO will share his experiences of using a serverless Aurora database in AWS for cost reduction on a simple web application that was originally written for MySQL.

7.45pm-8.30pm - Paul Williams, Strategic Cloud Engineer @ Google will talk about serverless CI/CD techniques using Google Cloud tools such as Cloud Build, Cloud Source Repositories and Container Registry.

There will be plenty of time for questions and chat.
