The Cloud Native Computing Ticino community wants to be an active organiser of meetups that lead to a sharing of best practices and knowledge of innovative technologies related to the Open source, Cloud Native and DevOps fields.
What does "Cloud Native" mean?
Today our world is driven by the adoption of software-driven business models and by a rapid and efficient application development. The Cloud Native approach is a combination of technologies and techniques that allows the creation of resilient and monitorable systems, with the goal to develop and distribute high-quality applications and get shorter software lifecycles guided by continuous user feedbacks.
Cloud Native development includes:
· A DevOps and collaborative approach, based on Agile and lean principles ;
· The use of containers to streamline applications development and to orchestrate workloads in a scalable way;
· A modular microservice architecture, which enables faster and simplified updates;
· The use of APIs, which puts all this into a seamless connection;
· All this must take place in modern and dynamic environments such as public, private and hybrid cloud.
During these meetings, we would like to gather all those who are dealing with these issues, or who are introducing this approach to start a real innovation journey.
The idea is to share opinions and contribute to both numerical and experiential growth of the community.
