DevOps Amsterdam meetup: Accessibility & Alerting

Details

Join us for a (likely fully virtual) meetup, March 23. The link to join will follow shortly.

The agenda then. We'll be joined by Hidde de Vries (@hdv on Twitter), a front-end web developer and accessibility specialist. He writes about HTML, CSS, JavaScript and accessibility: https://hiddedevries.nl/en/blog

Hidde is a long time accessibility nerd. He has worked on the standards side and as a WCAG auditor. He currently works in the developer relations team of Sanity.io. Hidde is ex W3C/WAI, and ex Mozilla. Hidde will talk about shifting accessibility testing left.

Also joining us is François Conil, Solutions Architect at Aiven.io.

Monitoring that cares (the end of user based monitoring)

When you rely on your users to do your monitoring (and even worse, your alerting) for you, do you really care about them?

That said, how would you go about fixing it? How do you identify what's broken; how do you allocate the time to fix it? Are there shortcuts? (yes, if you ask for help).

BYOD, and bring a friend!
