DevSecOps is a growing area with a number of very good conferences being organised. I want a more frequent meet up in London to allow people to share their real life experience of introducing or working with Security in their delivery.
Monthly gathering for anybody involved with factoring Security into DevOps - this is not just for developers or security SMEs.
After taking a break for the best part of 2020, we are back :-)
I have asked Glenn to join me with co-organising and hosting the Gathering going forward.

Title: Policy as Code
Description: In just a few years, Open Policy Agent (OPA) has established itself as the de-facto standard for policy based guard rails around kubernetes clusters - now it's moving into our microservices! In this talk we'll explore the benefits of decoupling policy from application logic, and how OPA can help bring order to an increasingly distributed, heterogeneous and complex tech stack.
Bio: Developer advocate at Styra with a long background in software development, security and identity systems in primarily distributed environments. When not in front of his computer he enjoys watching football, cooking and Belgian beers.
