DevSecOps Manchester is a free monthly networking event for those who care about the security of their software products and services, to share notes and discover new ways to automate security testing. This is about empowering developers and testers with the tools and methods needed for them to take control and responsibility for the security of their software.
Software engineers, testers, infrastructure engineers, project managers, security consultants, business analysists, CISOs, CTOs and everyone involved or interested in the creation and maintenance of software are welcome to come along to the next DevSecOps Manchester event.
This month Anthony has lined up a demo to show how you can easily set up security testing as part of your Continuous Integration (CI) pipeline.
Setting the scene:
As you know we have been drafted in since the previous engineering team mysteriously disappeared. Karen our CTO wants us to finish the integration project with her COTS e-commerce product of choice. Several members of the team have raised concerns about the security of this third-party e-commerce product, and it is during this event we will look into fixing this.
This should be a fun and technical session, but don't worry too much if you're not technically inclined as Anthony will attempt to make it graspable. You should expect to leave with the tools to get you started down your journey of integrating security testing into your build process.
Doors at 6pm
Demo at 6:30pm
