The purpose of this talk is to convince software developers that functional programming is worth their attention, and that the Elm language is a practical choice for starting functional programming now.

Mark Bolusmjak is the Platform Architect at Nudge Rewards.For 15 years he's been architecting and working the full stack for companies in social media, finance and gaming, among others.

If you're like me you've probably dealt with stress, overwork and feeling like an imposter in your tech career. I'll share how they've affected me, and some things I've done and learned from others that have helped me put it all in perspective.

Brian Hogg has been a software developer since he was 12, from launching popular online video games to getting rid of manual tasks for organizations of all shapes and sizes.
