Join us for the final #DevTO of 2019! This month we have invited a panel to join us in a discussion around giving tech talks! We're going to explore how to prepare ourselves, how to present an engaging story to difference audiences including your peers or at a conference.

Irina is a Lead Solutions Architect for Onica, an AWS Premier Consulting Partner, with over 18 years in the IT industry. She is a passionate advocate for promoting the secure and cost effective use of AWS cloud.

Dana manages BlueCat’s corporate communications program. Her work has touched internationally recognized platforms like the Globe & Mail, Huffington Post, TEDx, and more. Erica is a Sr. Full Stack Engineer and Technical Lead on the Platform team at BenchSci, an AI-assisted antibody and reagent selection. Prior to working at BenchSci, she worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Wave, and was instrumental in the early phase of their GraphQL API, as well as in building their recurring invoicing product. A passionate public speaker and presenter, Erica is always looking for her next opportunity. Some of her more recent public speaking endeavors include a lightning talk at GraphQL Day Toronto and as a panellist for student-run events at the University of Guelph and York University.

Kapil is the co-chair and head of curation and coaching for TEDxToronto, our local, volunteer-run TED Talks event. He's driven to help Toronto's great ideas make an impact across our region and world. When he's not volunteering his time, he's the founder of a consultancy helping leaders and organizations use story and narrative to build better strategy, culture and brand - from compelling talks, to pitch decks, and strategic plans.
