Lunch&&Learn - GraphQL Part 3: Client side

Details

Devhub Vancouver is launching a weekly series of Lunch&&Learns-- casual one-hour seminars with varying topics targeted at developers. Why not use your lunch break to learn something new?

You've been introduced to it. You've built the server-side of it. Now, the conclusion to the three-part series on GraphQL - GraphQL on the client side. In this workshop, Don Burks, Lighthouse Labs' Head Instructor for Web Development in Vancouver (https://www.linkedin.com/in/donaldburks/), will take you through integrating the Apollo GraphQL client in a React application, and show how you utilize queries, mutations, and subscriptions on the front end of your application.

Don is a passionate advocate for the combination of technology and education. He has a 20-year career as a web developer and technologist, including companies such as Microsoft and MetroLyrics.com. When he's not writing books or speaking at conferences, you can find him playing in local orchestras, putting his music degree to some good use.
