Data scientist - what does that even mean?

Tales from the trenches: A personal view on roles and job titles in the IT business of somebody (me) who accepted the label "statistician", "data scientist", "software engineer", "team lead" and "product owner" throughout his career. Also: "Data Science" - origin and shift of meaning throughout time.
Ein persönlicher Blick auf die Bedeutung einiger Jobtitel eines Betroffenen (mir), der seine Karriere als "Statistiker" begonnen hat, dann als "Data Scientist" betitelt wurde, dann als "Software Enigineer" gearbeitet hat, und jetzt "Team Lead" oder "Product Owner " ist. Auch: Was heißt eigentlich "Data Science" und was hieß das vor 15 Jahren?
