At this month's meetup, we'll discuss various policies and initiatives that are advancing inclusion in GLAM nationwide.

Alan Inouye, Senior Director of Public Policy & Government Relations at the American Library Association, will be speaking about current policy trends.

Effie Kapsalis, Senior Digital Program Officer at the Smithsonian, will tell the group about the Smithsonian American Women's History Initiative.

Doretha Williams, Smith Fund Program Manager at the National Museum of African American History & Culture, will share the museum's Community Curation Project.

As usual, our schedule is:

6:30—Arrivals and socializing, with a break partway through for introductions

7:00—Lightning talks

7:30—Announcements and more socializing

8:00—Adjourn the meeting to a local bar/eatery.
