Digital DeLand Meeting 6:00 Wednesday March 16
Digital Deland will meet at the DeLand Abbey at 6:00 on Wednesday March 16, 2022. Local entrepreneurs, technology experts and other interested locals meet to share ideas and inspriration about how to harness technology for success.
Digital DeLand meetings are always vibrant, overflowing with ideas, and welcoming to new attendees.
Following brief introductions Alex Morse, Creative Director at Morse Design and Founder of, will speak on
Web3, NFTs and Digital Ownership
Alex will be discussing web3, proving ownership of digital assets on the web and empowering communities through non fungible tokens (NFTs). Topics will include the short history of NFT artwork, differences between centralized institutions and decentralized platforms.
Rescue Dogz a web3 dog rescue community. Alex will explain how he is empowering dog rescue through ownable digital artwork that serves as a membership to a dog rescue community that promotes global dog advocacy. Rescue Dogz NFT on twitter @rescuedogznft and Web3 site at rescuedogz.io
After a Q&A session two Digital DeLand members will present a brief introduction to next month’s program which will be held at Stetson University.
Alex Zelenski, President of Clearview Geographic, will introduce geographic information systems types of information that can be leveraged within GIS systems.
Ashley White will introduce the exciting field of UX/UI Design.
All three of the above topics will be explored in more depth in future meetings.
Digital DeLand, formerly known as Tech DeLand, meets on the third Wednesday of every month. There is No Charge but advance registration is requested and attendance is limited so register early.
