Volunteering your Digital Skills: SCVO, CivTech, Cohorts and more!

Welcome to our first event of 2020!
Huge thank you to CivTech for having us at their space!

At this event we will have:

1. Maddie Stark from SCVO and DigitalForGood
   Maddie will talk about what you might expect when you volunteer for a charity and how to have the most impact. It's a great opportunity to ask questions and take next steps if you ever thought of volunteering!

2. Alex Nuttgens from SCVO
   Alex is a Technical Infrastructure Officer at SCVO and will walk us through their volunteering platform and finding an opportunity to volunteer.

3. Dr Haileigh Robertson from CivTech
   Dr Haileigh from CivTech will share about what they're up to in their work on bringing the public and private sectors together and give you opportunities to contribute.

4. Steve and Milosz from DigitalForGood
   We will share and kick off the Cohorts project we've been working on for the past few months and give you an opportunity to volunteer with one of the projects!

Digital for Good meet-ups exist to bring digital professionals and non-profits into a space to discuss the challenges and opportunities together and make magic happen.

We'll have snacks, drinks, speakers and a great discussion afterwards.
