Charity volunteer success story with Protect Our Winters

What happens when you combine a project with purpose, with a design thinking lead approach and an awesome group of volunteers?

Lead volunteer experience designer, Michael Haigney, will share how volunteers where recruited, onboarded and motivated to deliver a do extensive research and idea visualisation in just 8 weeks.

The volunteers delivered an accessibility audit, customer journey maps, heuristics review, wireframes, a working prototype and a design system that exceeded the trustees expectations at charity, Protect Our Winters UK, POW. They can see the design system being adopted by the rest of the EU chapters and possible the USA, where the charity was formed.
