Welcome to Digital Females in 2013!

We are planning lots of great events this year and looking to see the Digital Females group continue to grow in size. There are now almost 340 members in the group which is a great result considering we only launched this time last year so thank you for all your support to date, we couldn't have got here without you!

The first meet up of the year has been scheduled and with Google constantly refining their algorithm, we wanted to bring you a topic that is hot on everyone's minds, the Google Penguin!

The Speaker

She has been doing SEO since before it had a name and has worked both in-house and agency-side.

She was one of the judges for both UK Search Awards, is a founding everywoman Modern Muse and is the coordinator for London Girl Geek Dinners. Her clients include Google, Virgin, Slendertone, Guggenheim, SAP, Amadeus, & ShareThis.

Judith writes regularly for SEO Chicks (http://www.seo-chicks.com/) and Mostly About Chocolate as well as the Huffington Post's Technology section. She speaks at various conferences around the world.

The Talk

With the Google Penguin continuing to impact websites around the world, Judith is going to share link building ideas with us that help us stop the pesky penguins from penalising websites. The session will include:

The Date and Location
On Thursday 28th February, we are going to meet at The Long Acre (same venue as last time). The evening will begin at 6:30pm with Judith taking to the stage at 7:00pm.
