"Vote électronique" for Geneva - by Olivier Leclère
Since its first steps into "vote électronique", Geneva's remote online voting platform - CHVote - has been built with the help of its citizens, in order to offer them a barrier-free solution, that meets their needs.
Olivier is an information system advisor at the State of Geneva. He has been responsible for the operation of the www.ge.ch (http://www.ge.ch/) website. Since a couple of years he has joined the team in charge of projects in the field of political rights.
More than meets the eye: Better experiences with universal design - by Adam Ungstad
As the world’s population ages, technology changes at an incredible pace. Universal Design ensures the physical environment can be accessed, understood and used to the greatest extent possible – and as architects of the digital age we have the responsibility to do the same. Come for an overview of the 7 principles of Universal Design, and leave with a holistic understanding of digital products that are effective, useful and sustainable.
Adam is an information architect from Canada who was worked with global organizations including FIFA, the International Air Transport Association (IATA), and the World Health Organization.
Are you wondering if there will be goodies at the event? And an apero? Hm, if only the link above had the answer to those questions...
See you there!
