How many of you have computers, but only use them to watch YouTube or answer emails? What else can your sophisticated machines do? Isn't there a way we can better use this technology? There is! Join the group to learn about life through programming, 3d modelling, storytelling, engineering, and more! This group is meant to include every caliber of computer user, except experts. This is an inclusive group where the newest of learners takes precedent over the already-knowledgable. If this group does one thing it is to demystify the rapidly expanding world of "high tech". Be prepared to learn about yourself by learning this new technology.
Examples of why you might want to show up: * you have an smartphone (android, iOS) but want to learn how to use more of its power * you have a WindowsPC or/and a Mac and want to learn how to -- write basic programs as a hobby -- create music -- do graphic design -- make 3d models for hobby or otherwise -- learn about how to safely navigate the internet -- discover ways to protect your children while using the Internet * discover and discuss the most advanced technologies just coming onto the market (i.e. Starlink, HoloChain, etc...) * make smartphone apps for hobby and professional purposes * make 3D and 2D games to practice mathematics and develop prototypes.
Grandparents and grandchildren are recommended to participate together! This is a wonderful opportunity for the young and old to go and spend time together. All ages are welcome!
There will be one-on-one instruction, group instruction, lectures, visiting technicians and teachers, projects, and even competitions.
