3D Printers are making their way rapidly into the mainstream - and into your classrooms! Cutting edge educators are looking for the next big thing in fabrication and they are setting their sights on 3D Scanners. Join us for an evening of exploring some of the newest devices in 3D scanning technology. We will have many scanners for you to try out and gain hands-on experience with. We will also be showing a demo of Doodle Fab - a new tool to turn 2D drawings into 3D objects - which you will also have a chance to use, and take back to your classrooms!
Maker Educators: 3D Night is a new offering from DHF’s Center of Excellence with a goal of gathering together educators who are currently using or interested in using 3D printing as a part of their learning program. We will meet quarterly to explore new technologies in the field, discuss practical applications of these technologies for teaching and learning, and network with one another.
