1:00 PM – 1:30 PM Introduction

1:30 PM – 2:30 PM Access Control Lists and Permissions

Knowing where to terminate access level and grant permission in a controlled granular form.

2:30 PM – 3:30 PM Using Docker with DigitalOcean

Basic concepts of Docker and containerization will be discussed in this session, including advantages of using Docker in Digital Ocean. Lastly, deployment of a "dockerized" app in Digital Ocean will be taught.

3:30 PM – 4:00 PM Socials

About the speakers

Alwin Hermosilla

Neil is the Lead Devops Engineer of Onerent.co, a startup company providing long-term rental platform based in San Francisco. He is active in the Philippine techgrounds, speaking in other events hosted by AWSUGPH, DEVOPSHQ, DEVCONPH and Devop Cebu.

Neil is a self-taught sysadmin, devops engineer, season developer with a high interest in automation and infrastructure. A Debian lover and long-time Ansible user.

Dean Christian Armada

Currently working as a part time Full Stack Engineer at Zurien, which is a company of Dean's brother and a Python Engineer at a gaming company. He studied Information Technology at Don Bosco Technical College and is technically working starting 4th year college. Passionate about learning and sharing things, he's a cool guy to talk with and very outgoing to ease up stress in everyday life.

Dean is always motivated, dedicated and eager to get things done. Failure is his best teacher and trust from other people kept him going. Dean wants to inspire other people and learn from him as he will be inspired by their stories and learn from them as well.
