About us
About Our Group
After a long hiatus, we are dusting off our lenses and coming back together! Whether you’re shooting with the latest mirrorless rig, a vintage DSLR, or the powerful camera in your pocket, this group is for you. Our mission is to bridge the gap between technical skill and creative vision. We believe photography is better when shared, and we’re here to foster a supportive environment for photographers of all levels in the Boston area.
What to Expect at Our Events
• Photo Walks: Exploring local landmarks, hidden alleys, and nature trails to practice street and landscape photography.
• Skill-Swap Sessions: Casual meetups at local cafes or studios to discuss post-processing (Lightroom/Photoshop), AI-assisted editing, and composition.
• Themed Challenges: Monthly prompts (e.g., "Golden Hour," "Minimalism," or "Motion") with a friendly gallery-style sharing session.
• Gear Talk: A chance to try out different lenses and accessories in a low-pressure environment.
Safety & Community Health
We prioritize the well-being of our members. While we are excited to meet in person, we follow current local health guidelines.
• Outdoor Focus: Most of our shooting events will take place outdoors to ensure plenty of space.
• Respectful Distance: We encourage "socially distanced" shooting—good for your health and great for keeping people out of your frame!
• Indoor Protocol: For any indoor workshops, we will adhere to the specific requirements of the venue regarding masking or capacity. If you’re feeling unwell, we simply ask that you catch us at the next one.
