• Thai Food Fair at Chaiya Meditation Monastery

    Chaiya Meditation Monastery

Sunday?? 10AM?? Food fair at a Thai Monastery?? Yes to all of the above! If you can't make Arawan on Tuesday or just can't get enough Thai food, this is the Meetup for you! One of the secret treats in Las Vegas, Chaiya Meditation Monastery offers this fair the last Sunday of every month. It's cooked right in front of you and is some of the most authentic Thai food I've tried. Come early as it only goes until they run out so don't be opposed to eating Pad Thai in the morning. Feel free to drop in anytime, I'll be there from 10-11:30ish. There is some space to sit down and eat, but if you have folding chairs, bring them along. This is all outdoors. http://www.chaiyacmm.org/activities.html No cancellation penalty for this one.

  • Arawan Thai Bistro

    Arawan Thai Bistro and Dessert

http://arawanthaibistro.com/ I know that Las Vegas has as many Thai restaurants as it does Starbucks and everyone has their opinion about who is the best, but Arawan is truly special. Located in the same shopping area that once was home to Lotus of Siam, this updated and sophisticated take on Thai cuisine is a must for our group. I am limiting us to only 10 attendees and the 48 hour cancellation rule will be strictly enforced. No show or cancel less than 48 hours from event and you will be removed from our group. This is a very small restaurant, so please be kind.
