Co-Ed Rock Solid Advanced Skills Clinic p/b Bicycles Plus

***RESCHEDULED to Sunday, April 14th*** We are excited to host our first ever CO-ED Rock Solid Advanced Skills Clinic p/b Bicycles Plus! That's right guys, this invitation is open to YOU! This co-ed clinic is perfect for both men and women alike, who are seeking instruction to build on your current riding skills and up your game on the trails. Rock Solid Advanced Skills Clinic: Trail Features & Man-Made Obstacles is for those who want to increase their skill level on a variety of potential trail obstacles. You will learn the skills to better tackle trail features like tight switchbacks, dropping in to steep descents, skinny bridges, log pile obstacles, step ups, and drop offs. You will learn how to do wheel lifts and get to practice and play on some of our fun obstacles that were custom made for us by our sponsor Roman Strength! We will quickly review the fundamentals of mountain biking which will include body position, operation of controls, and terrain awareness/trail scanning. We will then start the more advanced skills such as direction control, pressure control, with timing and coordination. After our field practice on our new obstacles, we will be hitting the trail to practice our new skills! Whether you are brand new to riding a bike, or a seasoned mountain biker, learning and practicing these skills in a safe and focused environment can be a total game changer to your riding and safety out on the trail. Snacks and drinks will be provided. This clinic is much smaller than our Foundations Clinic therefore registration is extremely limited to ensure safety and give you more one on one time with our instructors. There will be no "day of" registration, so be sure to sign up soon to secure your spot! Members receive 25% off your $199 registration fee and the ability to "Thank" the Mister in your life with a registration discount code valid for this clinic. New - DSS Monthly Advanced Ride

MADD Shelter

NEW for 2019 - a ride just for you speedy or tech savvy ladies!!! After the past years of our Wednesday rides and skills clinics, so many of you have improved in your riding abilities and are ready to take it up a notch. Join us at Northshore where we will have two main groups to choose from, both led by our PMBIA Certified Instructors. Group A will head East for some fast and flowy singletrack, and Group B will head West for rocky, technical practice. You can expect the pace of Group A to average 8-9 mph which would take an hour and ten minutes to an hour and twenty minutes for the entire east side (~10.7 miles). We will stop a few times to regroup, but the focus of this ride is to keep a steady riding pace for the entire ride. Group B will be less about speed and more about working on tricky rock gardens and improving your technical riding skills. There will be several opportunities to learn and improve your riding by sectioning the challenging technical trail features throughout the west side. This is NOT a beginner ride! We will be riding advanced sections of trail that can be very dangerous. As ALWAYS, ride at your own risk! Please arrive at 6:00 pm to sign the waiver, pick up your name plate, and allow us to do a quick bike check. Wheels on dirt after our group picture at 6:30 pm! *Helmets are required. We will have water available and some nutrition, but ultimately you are responsible for staying hydrated and bringing your own nutrition. A hydration pack or water bottle is highly recommended.
