Hello there!

Welcome to The Dirty Pack Adventurers group.

If you're looking for something a little off-the-beaten-path, be it trekking, camping, off-roading in the desert, kayaking, canyoning or simply travelling to a new country on a low budget – then this group is for you! Outside these ventures, DPA will also participate and lead groups in fitness related activities/events like the Desert Warrior Challenge, Du tough mudders, Spartan Races and Salomon trail runs that happen both locally and internationally.

Why you should join this group?

We started travelling while we were students, so ALL of our trips come at a low cost. However, we spare no expense when it comes to safety and cleanliness. ALL the trips that we will post on this group have been done before to ensure that your experience is the best. So, be it a hostel, hotel, campsite, hiking trail, waterfall, river or lake - it has been tried and tested!

Safety! Safety! Safety! We cannot stress how important this is to us, especially when travelling in big groups. All members of the group will be made aware of the level of difficulty and will be provided with a list of items required as well as safety tips before every trip. We will also have training sessions prior to the actual event/trip (if necessary). In some cases, you will be required to attend a minimum number of training sessions to be able to participate in the event.

We've always used local professional guides for our trips, especially our kayaking and canyoning ventures and there are very few hikes that we've done alone (since they did not require guides). However, even though we will do our best to ensure your safety, all participants will be required to sign a waiver and release form before each activity.

Our off-roading training trips will be led by our very own Tarek El Hayek. This is not a professional training course and members should be aware that this is a recreational activity and participants will be liable for any damages to their 4x4. Tarek has over 3+ years’ experience in off-roading; he has trained and successfully led several groups off-roading on the sandy dunes and rocky mountains within UAE and Oman. <br>And finally, you should also know that we are passionate about what we do and love every minute of it! We are outdoor enthusiasts who want to meet like-minded individuals because all we really want to do is share our amazing experiences with you!
