Jenkins-X on Oracle Kubernetes Engine

Jenkins-X automates CI/CD for your applications on Kubernetes. It is based on the idea of GitOps where automated delivery pipelines roll out changes to your infrastructure when changes are made to version control. Git serves as the single source of truth.

In this hands-on lab we begin by standing up Kubernetes Managed Service on Oracle Cloud and learn the basics of cluster operation. Then we set up Jenkins-X and use GitOps flow to build a basic Microservice.

Bring Your Own Laptop! We also need to know your email address to be able to provision Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Trial account for each participant worth 500 $.

As a pre-requisite each participant should have an SSH Client set up with generated keys. Native for Mac/Linux and for example Putty for Windows.
