Connecting and Matching Technology has come a long way. Even dating technology has evolved since its onset not so long ago. In this increasingly fast-paced technological world, people are struggling to find the time to connect data and people and socialize, As a result online dating has become extremely popular and part of the social norm. The draw? It's cheap, easy, and you can do it with the click of a button.

1. Nancy Slotnick, CEO, Matchmaker Café

Nancy Slotnick has been in the dating business for a long time. Founded the original dating-café in ‘96, Drip, that was on the UWS. She is a dating expert and coach and her most recent venture is a matchmaking site on Facebook called Matchmaker Cafe. Matchmaker Café is a hybrid of online dating with a real world place. We set up real dates in the real world at real cafes and make the introduction. She is responsible for hundreds of marriages and has been featured on Oprah, the Today Show, and numerous others as a relationship expert. She has a B.A. from Harvard in Psychological Anthropology ...and is a Lovelife Coach, specializing in dating, love and marriage issues.

iBreakfast/iEvening is the Digital Industry's premier executive and entrepreneurial networking group. 3. Lauren Kay, Founder and CEO of 'The Dating Ring (http://thedatingring.com/)'

It's run by 3 women; Lauren is the former founder of a top NYC babysitting company, their CTO was a senior product manager at 'Zynga' and their matchmaker is a sexuality specialist/former Harlem sex-ed teacher. They are about to hit the 6-month mark and have had over 800 signup so far.
4. Brian Kalinowski COO of 'LiveClips'
'LiveClips' is an innovator and pioneer in the creation, digitization and real-time delivery of smart video clips to sports and fantasy league fans via Internet-enabled and mobile devices. A 25-year technology and entertainment industry veteran, Mr. Kalinowski has held high-level positions in media and internet organizations including Executive Vice President of Digital Media at WWE, and COO of Lycos Inc. where he oversaw the operations of such properties as Matchmaker.com, Quote.com and Wired.com. 'LiveClips' provides access to sports action on smart phones, tablets and the Internet within seconds after it happens via a computer-aided system designed to personalize and deliver real-time video to fans.
5. Aaron Schildkrout, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of HowAboutWe.com (http://howaboutwe.com/)
Aaron oversees product development, design, data and engineering strategy. He co-founded HowAboutWe with childhood friend Brian Schechter in 2009, with the goal of creating a knew way for people to fall in love and stay in love. Singles post date ideas, connect with someone they like and get together or they can browse their curated collection of local date experiences, pick the ones they like, and go. Their two products include HowAboutWe Dating and HowAboutWe for Couples. Aaron studied at Harvard and was an educator in the Boston school system. A learner and leader by heart, he is a regular voice in the NY startup community where he shares insights on entrepreneurship and innovation.
