Joining Toastmasters allows people to build the skills they need to become more confident public speakers and stronger leaders in every area of their lives. Along with delivering speeches, members are asked to evaluate other member's speeches while also developing their own listening and interpersonal skills.

We meet every Thursday from 12:05 - 1:00 PM at the Luella Johnston Hearing Room, 2nd Floor of the Historic City Hall. Guests are always welcome. Our club provides a very welcoming and professional setting for any new guest or member. We will help assist you on becoming a more confident public speaker and leader. You will impress your boss, coworkers, friends and family! Our small intimate club setting has friendly and funny members who will make you feel like one of the family, the River City Toastmasters family! At River City, we provide a unique practice venue at the City of Sacramento's Historic City Hall Council Chambers. Lose your jitters and learn how to speak like a professional. Sometimes we just have really interesting guest speakers and we want to provide them with a great audience. We are an open club, so anyone is welcome to be our guest.
