What we're about

Welcome back everyone. We are looking forward to planning public volunteer events as the public health orders begin to ease. If plan to attend an event please RSVP with us via email at parrishb@dnv.org and whitean@dnv.org to reserve your spot and learn more about these events.

NOTE: You MUST RSVP via email in order to join these events so that we can cap the number of people attending and also send you our volunteer forms.

Take care and we can't wait to see you in the parks.

Welcome to the District of North Vancouver’s Natural Parkland Volunteer Team! Have you been looking for a way to get outside and give back to the natural environment while connecting with like-minded members of your community? Our enthusiastic group of volunteers do just that. With over 3,000 hectares of parkland throughout the District, we rely on volunteers to help us care for our forests, creeks, and trails. Come join us as we remove invasive plants from sensitive areas; restore and enhance natural habitat through planting native trees and shrubs; build and maintain our extensive trail network; and learn more about the local ecology right here in your community. Sign up for these types of events and more through our Meetup group, where you can RSVP for events, share ideas with fellow volunteers, and reflect on past volunteer experiences.

Join our Meetup Team to find out more details and to RSVP to upcoming events. We are looking forward to connecting with you!
