Divi Developers March Merging of Minds at the Fab Lab

Our last meetup was yet another a fun and informative event. We were able to provide desk seating for our group around a large screen TV monitor so members can display their Divi creations, discuss their work, seek advice or offer help. Feel free to bring your laptop. (Connector to the screen is HDMI.)

Goals for this meetup:
Our meeting goals are always flexible as needed, but here’s a preliminary for this meetup.
Many members attending in March will be new to our meetup, so don’t be shy. Come and explore some interesting ways members use Divi on their sites. Members can use the big screen to display their sites and we, as a group, can provide valuable informative feedback and suggestions on ways of fine tuning the site visitor experience. We'll also present the latest Difi feature video and discuss applicability to our member’s sites. We can enjoy learning from each other as we move forward in our own journeys of site development.

Location:
AMRoC Fab Lab at 2149 University Square mall. Yes, inside the mall. Toward the west end, half way between Dillard’s and the west mall entrances. Plenty of free parking. Park near the WEST entrance, or if it’s ever raining consider parking in the parking garage on the northwest side of the mall. (This mall is in the process of being completely re-developed!)

Food:
Please feel free to bring along a take-out meal if you’d like, or bring refreshments for yourself or to share with the group. I’d like to find a sponsor that could cover the cost of some food for our meeting each month, so if anyone’s company may be interested in sponsoring food for the meetup please let me know and I’ll have the hosting nonprofit, FCDI, coordinate with them (all sponsorship contributions will be tax deductible). Also, there is a food court upstairs in the mall if anyone wants to grab a bite before the start of the meetup.

Start: 6:00PM

1. 10 minutes: Welcoming everyone as they arrive
2. 60 minutes: See Goals for this Meetup above.
3. 20 minutes: Open Q & A, and set topic for our next meetup in March
4. 7:30PM: Official conclusion.
5. Bonus 30 minutes: Tour of the FCDI AMRoC Fab Lab, chit-chat, mingle & network, and departure. (AMRoC Fab Lab closes at 8:00PM)
