March Moto Madness! Are ya In?

Rally Site

Get ready for March Moto Madness 2019 Thursday, March 28 through Sunday, March 31, 2019 This is a weekend long dual sport riding and camping event put on by the GS Giants in Tellico, Tennessee. We are not the hosts, so you need to register with the event to reserve your spot and food. Dixieland Dual Sport has had a dozen or more riders joining the festivities and camping at the site. So sign up with us so we can meet up at the event and have some fun. We have led our own rides and also have joined rides posted at the event. There have been big bike and small bike rides posted for self navigating as well as moderate, and tough rides led by the GS Giants which can be chosen. Come for a day or for the whole thing. Whatever the bike or rider, there is plenty of fun to be had. The event web site is: http://marchmotomadness.com Go to that site to register and pay, and sign up here too so we can plan. The event has plenty to entertain after you get back from the rides. There are bike Olympics which have included contests such as a barrel race course in the mud, and hauling wood on a bike (get wood). Our own Jonathan is 2015 defending Get Wood Champion! Vendors and Sponsors at the event such as Twisted Throttle, Klim, Mosco Moto are happy to show you, give you, or sell you cool stuff. Two years ago there were demos of the two wheel drive Christini motorcycles, and last year there was the debut of a Rev-It modified two wheel drive custom KTM scrambler. Saturday night there is a raffle of prizes along with some awards too. The food is edible but you must bring your own beverages and snacks. Tellico is about 15 minutes away for restocking. We will have our own fire and circle to gather around at night and swap tales and have a laugh. As it gets closer to the event, comment on when you plan on arriving so we can coordinate travel plans and rides at the event. Remember to support Lt. Dan who runs the whole event and GSM Motorent. He has bikes for rent if you need. http://gsmmotorent.com/ The original Tellico March Moto Madness has inspired an international following with over 20 events now held nationally and internationally on the same weekend. Be a part of it!
