The Red River Scramble!

This event is a Free, self guided, motorcycle event.
We went two years back and had a blast.
The hosts post maps, GPS tracks, schedules, and dining and lodging suggestions. But what to do and where we go is up to us.

There is a great mix of roads to offer a challenge for any rider level.
There are miles of fast flowing single track and hours of rough rocky forest tracks. There are also days worth of mixed dirt and gravel tracks.
The Kentucky adventure Trail, and the Daniel Boone Adventure Byway are also nearby. https://motoadventurer.com/2018/07/28/daniel-boone-backcountry-byway-an-adventure-guide/

The Host Site is: https://redriverscramble.com/

The site to register is: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/red-river-scramble-2022-tickets-237835962767?aff=ebdssbdestsearch

You need to reserve a camping spot with Lago Linda:

Each camping site can have a maximum of 8 people.

They post maps and GPS tracks

Fall MoTo Mania

OK, Everyone here it is again. A fall weekend of riding, camping and food! October 13, 14 and 15th. Wayne at Cherohala Mountain Trails campground has blacked out this weekend once again for our group. He has 7 cabins available with heat and air conditioning that sleep 2, These are 55.00 per night and can be reserved on a first come first served basis. I recommend if you want one make your reservation A.S.A.P. by calling the campground and tell them your with our group. Tent or hammock camping is 12.00 per night per person and includes free coffee every morning as well as free firewood and use of his cooking grills.

Saturday night after the days ride, we will light up the fire pits at my hauler, make a huge circle of chairs, sing Kumbaya and raise hell to the fire and tequila Gods. Surely there's some drunk dumb ass gonna yell from the back to play some Freebird.

Campground is alcohol friendly so bring a cooler with your favorite beverages BYOB.

Thursday, arrive, check in, set up and maybe get in some short rides....
Friday, we will plan some great dual sport rides in the area with a few different groups going out. (Routes are still in the planning phase.)
Saturday we will have breakfast from 7:45-845 then off to do some riding. The first group will be a dual sport ride leaning towards more advanced, technical single track and tight two track style of riding around[masked] miles or so give or take. The second group of dual sport riders is going to be a more intermediate pace, geared to not to try and kill yourself off the planet. (Not mentioning any names, right Roy?)
The Third ride will be big bike and adventure bike friendly and consist of some great off and on road riding this ride will be self guided unless someone steps up to lead unless I change plans last minute.

Wayne at the campground has room in the field for small campers as well as tents and a couple hammock trees with no hookups. The campground has nice, clean hot showers towels and wash cloths provided in the price of camping! We will have a bonfire Thursday Friday and Saturday nights so bring a camp chair for chilling in. As always if you have any questions feel free to contact me or any of us organizers We look forward to seeing everyone there! This is a rain or shine event. We will also try and book some live entertainment for Saturday night.
