What we're about

Our whole community has watched this problem grow exponentially, and now a crisis is looming. We may not have the answers but we know that homeless people are not inconveniences -- they are human beings. For the past few years, a small encampment of car-dwellers at the Blossom Valley Shopping Center has carved out a peaceful existence, but recently, the property management has grown more proactive and appears set on scattering the residents into the surrounding neighborhoods, where there are none of the facilities that the car-dwellers can presently access. Let us meet one night a week for a vigil, to sing and tell stories, and show the press, the property management, the police and the city government that we favor a peaceful approach to the homeless problem...until someone coughs up enough $$$ to solve it.
