Apache Kafka is a great tool for event-driven messaging and task queuing. In this talk, we will explore Kafka's uses and pitfalls and demonstrate how Docker fits into the picture.
Craig is a software engineer, outdoors enthusiast, and an otherwise regular guy. Lately, Craig has been writing a lot of Python, experimenting with microservice architectures, and putting anything and everything into Docker containers. Craig spends most of his time working with the incredible Landing Lion (http://www.landinglion.com) team pushing the boundaries of online marketing.
